How to lock your domain name in your web hosting account
Locking a domain name will help you protect it against any unauthorized transfer actions.The domain locking procedure includes 3 simple steps.
1. First you need to open your personal web hosting Control Panel. You can do this by clicking the Control Panel log-in link located in the upper right corner of our site. Next type in your personal web hosting account details in the corresponding Members Area Login form fields. Click on the Login button to go straight to your Control Panel.
2. In the Control Panel opening page - click on the Domain Manager icon located in the Site Management section. This will take you to a domain management panel featuring loads of administration options.
3. When opening your Domain Manager, you will see a table of all domains currently listed in your Control Panel.
To edit the lock/unlock domain option for a particular domain - click on the lock icon listed in the Status column on its right.
4. The pop-up message will show you the current status of your domain locked or unlocked.
If the domain is in unlocked status you will be able to lock it by clicking the Lock button. The green pop-up message will confirm for you that the domain name has been locked successfully. If you click back on the Lock icon - the pop-up message will show that the domain status has been set to Locked.
In case you wish to unlock an already locked domain - simply click on the Unlock button and get the action instantly confirmed by the green pop-up message.
